I've been going to the burger shoppe since I went to Kingston Elementary and the food used to be good and the service was outstanding, but things have really changed lately. The staff is rude and dismissive, especially over the phone, and the prices have gone up, but most distressing is that the quality of the food has gone waaaaay downhill. The last several burgers I have gotten were awful; no condiments, barely any vegetables, tiny, overcooked, bland patty. Not good at all. In all fairness the chicken strip dinner is pretty good and they have great blue cheese dressing, but the rest of the menu is on par with the last burgers I received. When the burgers on the value menu at the Sonic down the road blow yours out of the water, you've got a major problem. I've included a pic of one of the burgers I ordered a couple of days ago. This was the best of the four that I ordered. For the record, I ordered four regular burgers with extra mayo and all the trimmings and nothing was altered except the patty was moved over to show the bottom bun and vegetables. I really hope the quality of the food gets better, this used to be a really solid eatery.

Passed through here as a weary traveler and the burger-fry-milkshake (chocolate) combo really hit the spot. Expectedly generous portion of fries common in these small-town eateries. Their boasts ring true-best burger joint on the Red River. Friendly and fast service.

Amazing burgers, tasty fries, they use high quality flake salt, clean, service was nearly mythicaly amazing!! Prices were reasonable, highly recommend!
